How do clients get a quote?

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

    • Matic is a free insurance marketplace. There are no extra fees to work with us, so clients only pay the price of the premium.

WHAT TYPES OF INSURANCE DOES MATIC SELL?

    • Matic sells home insurance, auto, flood, earthquake, toys, umbrella, renters, and life insurance. Matic can also bundle policies to save even more money.

HOW DO CLIENTS GET A QUOTE?

    • Matic works with Dart Bank to embed insurance shopping in the mortgage journey.

WILL GETTING A QUOTE AFFECT MY CLIENT’S CREDIT SCORE?

    • No – getting a quote or purchasing a policy through Matic will not have any impact on credit score.

Matic works with Dart Bank to embed insurance shopping in the mortgage journey. For new mortgage loans, email offers will automatically be sent to clients once the Setup Milestone is completed. Existing mortgage loans will receive email offers at the time of policy expiration or after an escrow analysis with an impact to their monthly payment. Clients will be able to shop digitally with Matic through these links and can purchase a policy with a Matic agent over the phone or in some cases online in the Matic digital marketplace. Dart Bank will also be able to perform live call transfers to the Matic agency and request expedited outreach for new originations customers by emailing Michael.C@matic.com.

WILL MATIC OFFERS BE SENT TO BOTH NEW PURCHASE AND REFINANCE CLIENTS?

    • Yes. New origination customers who are purchasing a home, refinancing a home, and taking out a second mortgage are included in the automated insurance process.
    • Does Matic offer builders risk/new construction policies?
    • Construction loans will be excluded from the automated insurance process. If you have questions as to whether Matic can help your client in a specific circumstance, please reach out to  Michael.C@matic.com to see if Matic has a policy option that fits their need.
    • Can my client pay for their policy at closing?
    • There are several ways a client can choose to pay for their new policy. Homeowners policies may be paid at the time of policy sale by electronic check or credit card, may be paid at closing, or, most typically, may be escrowed into the monthly mortgage payment.
