Chenoa Fund Recognizes PRMG as a Kani Award Recipient

Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc. (PRMG) is proud to be a recipient of Chenoa Fund’s, first annual, Kani Award. This honor recognizes the company’s correspondent lending partners for their work in advancing homeownership by providing mortgages to the low-to-moderate income (LMI) minority population and first-time homebuyers.

PRMG is amongst seven additional correspondent lenders. The Kani Award recipients were selected based on their share of mortgages sold to LMI borrowers in 2022.  Each lender must be active correspondents with at least $20 million in loan volume from 2022 and currently use Chenoa Fund programs.

“Kani,” (K-AH-N-EE) the traditional Paiute word for home, embodies the spirit of the Kani Award. The meaning behind the Kani Award echoes CBCMA’s tribal roots and the company’s longstanding commitment to promoting inclusive homeownership since its inception 10 years ago.” -CBC Mortgage Agency

In creating this award, the CBC Mortgage Agency intends to shed light on the lenders that share a passion for change in the mortgage industry, makes educating borrowers a priority, and offers ingenious programs that combat the challenges of becoming a homebuyer.
